    One Piece Getting New Heroines Novel

    Shueisha revealed in a new listing that One Piece will be getting a new Heroines light novel on March 4. The novel will focus on Hancock, Tashigi, Reiju, Uta, Nami and Robin.

    Although One Piece is already one of the world’s most popular anime and manga franchises, the series went to new heights with Luffy’s Gear 5 transformation in the anime. Outside of the anime and manga releases, One Piece’s worldwide momentum continues with various games, including One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. Recently, Wit Studio announced that they will be remaking the entirety of the One Piece anime.

    In a new listing, Shueisha confirmed that One Piece will be getting a new Heroines light novel at some point in the future. The novel will focus on the following characters: Hancock, Tashigi, Reiju, Uta, Nami and Robin. Anime News Network describes what each episode for each character will entail:

    • “episode: Hancock” tells the return of one of Hancock’s subordinates after a long disappearance at sea. As she is about to tell her love story on the high sea, a hurricane blows in.
    • “episode: Tashigi” sees the character passing on her sword skills to a young girl like her.
    • “episode: Reiju” is a cooking story about Reiju and her brothers creating a meal for themselves with no cook onboard.
    • “episode: Uta” sees the character singing a new song as she reminisces over Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates.
    • “extra episode: Nami & Robin” delves into how the two women manage to indulge in self-care during their voyage at sea with the help of Chopper and Brook.

    The original One Piece manga is available on Viz Media, MANGA Plus, and other local and online retailers. Additionally, the anime is available in its entirety on Crunchyroll. New episodes of One Piece typically air on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. JST across TV networks in Japan.

    Crunchyroll simulcasts the One Piece anime on Saturdays at 10:00 p.m. EDT.  One Piece is available to watch each week with Japanese audio and English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles. The streaming service describes it as follows:
