Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 4 Remake has reached 6.48 million units as of December 31, 2023. The game is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and select Mac devices.
Capcom initially released Resident Evil 4 Remake on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 24. Critics and fans alike gave the game several rave reviews for being a faithful and exciting remake of the 2005 survival horror classic. In October, Capcom released Resident Evil Village on Apple devices. RE4 Remake is available in a free-to-play capacity on Apple devices for the first few hours of playtime. Afterward, it will require an in-app purchase.

In a recent earnings report from Capcom, focused on statistics taken as of December 2023, the company revealed that Resident Evil 4 Remake has passed 6.48 million copies. The metric is supported by “ongoing promotional measures including free title updates for PlayStation VR2.” The game’s earnings will likely continue to grow in the coming months.
