    Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 Update Launches February 6

    Penacony opens its doors to the Astral Express.

    HoYoverse announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 “If One Dreams At Midnight” will release on February 6. Version 2.0 will be the game’s largest update to date, as fans embark on a new adventure in Penacony. 

    After the events of Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6, the Astral Express crew receives an invitation from The Family to visit Penacony. Once on Penacony, the crew will be honored guests for a grand event known as the Charmony Festival. They will also visit The Reverie, a massive interstellar hotel with countless celebrities. Strangely enough, Penacony was originally a prison run by the IPC, before The Family took control. 

    Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 – Penacony, New Characters, and More

    After making it to The Reverie, Honkai: Star Rail players may utilize the Dreampool to visit the 12 Dreamscapes in Version 2.0. The Golden Hour Dreamscape is the most lively of the 12, as its a constant celebration. Players will come across the Dream’s Eye, which utilizes visual illusions to connect paths together for players to explore with the Dreamwalk ability.  

    The mysterious Black Swan will make her debut in the story and as a playable 5-star character. Black Swan is also a Memokeeper in the Garden of Recollection, and she has a strong desire to explore the memories of others. In combat, Black Swan uses basic attack and skills, which the probability of applying the Arcana stackable DoT effect. In the Arcana state, Black Swan can trigger additional effects and deal more damage based on the number of Arcana stacks. 

    Players may also invite 5-star character Sparkle to their team. Known as the Masked Fool, Sparkle is a master of drama and changes identities quite often. She’s believed to have a thousand masks at her disposal, so wealth and status do not matter to her and her pursuit of Elation. In battle, Sparkle provides an increase to the team’s maximum Skill Point. Her skill also boosts a teammate’s critical damage and shortens their Action window. By unleashing her Ultimate, Sparkle can restore Skill Points in one go. 

    Misha is a new 4-star character native to Penacony. He works as a doorman at The Reverie, and she dreams of being a cosmic adventurer like his grandfather. As a result, he’s eager to begin her adventure with the Trailblazer. In combat, Misha’s Ultimate deals more damage with the more Skill Points that players use. His Ultimate also has the chance to freeze the target. 

    Version 2.0’s Events and Features

    In Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0, 5-star characters Dan Heng (Imbibitor Lunae) and Jing Yuan will be available in the first and second phases respectively. A variety of game optimizations will be applied in Version 2.0, and a new feature called Fate’s Atlas will document the events and story of the game, allowing fans to review what’s happened thus far. Additionally, the enhancement process for Relics will be optimized, allowing players to insert materials easily while upgrading Relics. Players may even receive recommendations for Relic sets for each character, with efficient filter and switch features.
