To celebrate the game’s launch, Arc System Works announced UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes Season 1 DLC characters Uzuki, Ogre & Izumi. A roadmap for the new DLC characters was also revealed alongside new screenshots.
This past November, the UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes open beta test gave gamers the opportunity to try out the game before launch. Kuon was also revealed as a playable character that may be unlocked via normal progression or the Season Pass. Players will also receive the Season Pass with their purchase of the Limited Edition from Limited Run Games or the Digital Deluxe Edition.
UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes Limited Edition and DLC Characters
Season Pass DLC characters Uzuki, Ogre, and Izumi will join the roster of UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes over the course of the next year and half. Uzuki will launch first in August 2024, followed by Ogre in February 2025 and Izumi in August 2025.

Limited Run Games will sell a UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes Limited Edition ($74.99 value) featuring the Season Pass and the following goods:
- Special box art featuring Seiichi Yoshihara’s illustration.

- UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes Original Soundtrack
- Include a Blu-ray disc collection of past series OP animation videos

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes launches today, January 24, for $49.99 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Until March 31, purchases include the Season Pass and instant access to Kuon. The limited physical edition retails for $79.99, with the digital deluxe edition available on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop and Steam for $59.99. The standard edition is available at physically and digitally for $49.99.
