    Umbraclaw Releasing on May 30 for Consoles and PC

    The latest game from the Blaster Master Zero director.

    Inti Creates announced side-scrolling cat action game Umbraclaw releases on May 30 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In Japan, the game will be sold physically for select platforms. 

    In Umbraclaw, players control a deceased house cat named Kuon through a fantasy storybook-like realm known as the Soulplane. Kuon has multiple abilities at his disposal including Shadowstep and Anima Revive. These abilities are crucial to Kuon’s survive, since he only has nine lives in the afterworld.

    Umbraclaw Release Date, New Trailer, Physical Edition, and PC Demo Confirmed

    The latest trailer for Umbraclaw confirms that the game will release on May 30 across all currently supported consoles and PC. A physical standard edition will be sold in Japan for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 at 5,280 yen. Moreover, a limited edition will be sold for 9,980 yen featuring an art book, two-disc soundtrack CD, and an acrylic key chain. Before launch, fans may try out Umbraclaw in a free demo during Steam Next Fest February 2024 Edition.

    In Umbraclaw, take control of Kuon, a cat on a perilous journey through the afterlife known as the “Soulplane.”

    On your adventure through the Soulplane, the “Anima Revive” system will grant Kuon abilities from various animals. These abilities will be key to overcoming the obstacles you’ll face on your journey.
