Bandai Namco announced the Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Ritual of Bonds Vol.1 DLC will launch on January 25. This DLC will introduce a mysterious labyrinth, and several characters from past Sword Art Online entries return.
Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is an action RPG that serves as the “culmination” of the Sword Art Online game series. The RPG includes the biggest character roster in the series yet with many fan-favorites making their epic return. The post-launch DLC will bolster the game’s playable roster even further on January 25.
Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Ritual of Bonds DLC
In the Ritual of Bonds DLC, Sword Art Online: Last Recollection players will explore a mysterious underground labyrinth. Kirito and his party may clear labyrinth dungeons to prevent the Dark Territory from expanding. Moreover, popular Sword Art Online characters Strea, Philia, Sinon, Silica, Asuna, Lisbeth, Dorothy, Premiere, and Tia will be playable in the Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Ritual of Bonds Vol.1 DLC. Vol.2 of the Ritual of Bonds DLC will release at a later date.

Sword Art Online fans may also look forward to the continuation of the anime series. Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online Season 2 was green-lit for production at Studio 3Hz. Tomori Kusunoki returns as Llenn, the main lead of Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online. Masayuki Sakoi serves as director for the second season with Yōsuke Kuroda handling series composition. Yoshio Kosakai is the anime’s character designer and chief animation director.
Lastly, Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A Sword Art Online: Last Recollection demo is also available now, allowing players to start their playthrough before buying the game. Save data from the demo may be transferred into the full game.
