Square Enix has shared details on two more regions of the world on the Square Enix Blog. These regions are none other than Starboard Junon and Shinra-8, two locations you’ll be visiting somewhat early on in your journey throughout the game. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will feature locations such as Under Junon, the Grasslands, and more in addition to these two.
Fans of the original title will remember Starboard Junon as the place where Rufus’ welcoming ceremony takes place. Additionally, the Shinra-8 is the ship that takes players between the two continents. It’s worth noting that the Shinra-8 is now a cruise ship filled with entertainment instead of a military ship.

A Shinra cruise ship that ferries travelers between the planet’s eastern and western continents. After departing the port of Junon, it heads for the resort town of Costa del Sol.
As part of the on-board entertainment, the ship plays host to a Queen’s Blood tournament.
