    Urusei Yatsura Anime Release Dates and Schedule (Second Half)

    The new Urusei Yatsura anime series continues with a second half full of episodes during the winter 2024 season. The second half of the Urusei Yatsura anime will be quite extensive and run for two cours, and Final Weapon has the full schedule and release dates you need to know.

    The legendary Urusei Yatsura anime first aired in 1981 as adaptation of the manga by Rumiko Takahashi. Nearly four decades later, the anime returned in October 2022 as a four-part series with a total of 46 episodes. The first half featured 23 episodes, and the second half will feature another 23 episodes.

    The second half of the Urusei Yatsura series second half begins on January 11 at 12:30 p.m. EDT with the release of episode 24 on HIDIVE. New episodes will continue to air each week at the same time slot on Thursdays. 12 episodes will be released in the third cour, and 11 episodes are expected in the fourth and final cour.

    David Production (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) will continue to produce the series with directors Hideya Takahasi, Yasuhiro Kimura, and Takahiro Kamei. In English, Lum is voiced by Jade Kelly, and Ataru is voiced by Nathan Wilson. MAISONdes performs the opening theme song “Lock On feat. HashiMelo, Megurimeguru” and ending theme song “Raizakura feat. 9Lana, SAKURAmoti.”
