    DanMachi Fulland of Water and Light Announced for Consoles

    Featuring a new story by the series creator.

    During the Bushiroad New Year Presentation 2024 livestream, Bushiroad Games announced Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth – Fulland of Water and Light, or DanMachi Fulland of Water and Light for short. This is the first game adaptation for the long-running DanMachi series that has been built from the ground up for consoles.

    Held on January 6 in Japan, the Bushiroad New Year Presentation 2024 featured the latest details on Bushiroad’s upcoming slate of games, including Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Quest of Memories. One of the new game announcements from the event includes DanMachi Fulland of Water and Light, which will feature a new original story.

    DanMachi Fulland of Water and Light Details

    A new sizzle reel trailer from Bushiroad New Year Presentation 2024 reveals that DanMachi Fulland of Water and Light is currently in development for consoles. Specific platforms, a release date, and the game’s developer were not revealed, however. The trailer does reveal that the game will feature an original story drafted by Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth series creator Fujino Ōmori.

    In other DanMachi news, DanMachi Memoria Freese will be shutting down on February 28 with one final update. Moreover, all sales of paid Iris (in-game currency) and in-game subscriptions have been disabled completely, and subscription renewals have been halted. These subscriptions include Syr’s Daily Lunch Box Set and Hostess of Fertility Full Course, which has rewards that can still be redeemed until one month has passed since the subscription/renewal date.

    Although DanMachi Memoria Freese is ending service, gamers may still enjoy the latest entry in the series, DanMachi Battle Chronicle. Fans may look forward to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of DanMachi Battle Chronicle this year. More details are coming soon, so stay tuned.
