Wright Flyer Studios (WFS) confirm the international version of mobile RPG DanMachi Memoria Freese (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Familia Myth Memoria Freese) will be shutting down on February 28, 2024. This will mark the end of the game’s service just one month away from its six-year anniversary.
DanMachi Memoria Freese first launched in June 2017 in Japan for Android and iOS. The international version launched less than one year later on March 2018 in the US, Europe, Taiwan, and South Korea. As season 5 of DanMachi approaches, WFS is ending support for DanMachi Memoria Freese in major markets outside of Japan.
WFS is Shutting DanMachi Memoria Freese Down
After nearly six years in service, DanMachi Memoria Freese will be shutting down on February 28 with one final update, version 15.3.0. All sales of paid Iris (in-game currency) and in-game subscriptions have been disabled completely, and subscription renewals have been halted. These subscriptions include Syr’s Daily Lunch Box Set and Hostess of Fertility Full Course, which has rewards that can still be redeemed until one month has passed since the subscription/renewal date.
Refunds for unused paid Iris will be available once the final update is out on February 28. Players must have the game installed to submit a refund request. WFS plans to reveal more details about the refund process once the game’s service ends. In the meantime, a new FAQ regarding the impending shutdown is now live on the game’s official website.
