The TBS Anime YouTube channel released a new promotional video for The Quintessential Quintuplets celebrating the anime series’ 5th anniversary. New voice lines for the girls were revealed in the new video.
The story of The Quintessential Quintuplets anime series concluded with the 2022 animated film, but the series still continues with games and side stories. In fact, a new anime for The Quintessential Quintuplets will adapt stories that have not been told in prior anime projects. Before the anime arrives, fans may celebrate the 5th anniversary of The Quintessential Quintuplets anime series.
The Quintessential Quintuplets 5th Anniversary Video
The anime adaptation for The Quintessential Quintuplets premiered in January 2019, with January 2024 marking the 5-year mark. TBS Anime’s The Quintessential Quintuplets 5th anniversary video features new voice lines for the Nakano sisters. A schedule regarding 5th anniversary events for 2024 was revealed as well. Firstly, a two-day event will be held in Yokohama Arena from April 27 to 28, 2024. The event features a screening of the film concert on April 27, while a live talk event with the cast will be held on April 28 with a performance. Additionally, three separate events will be held in 2024, so fans can expect more details to be revealed soon.

The latest game in the series is The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made with Her, which released on September 7, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. In The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made with Her, protagonist Fuutarou Uesugi enjoys his summer vacation during the first year of college. Players may experience “heart-pounding summer vacation dates” between Fuutarou and the Nakano quintuplets. Several endings and branching routes are available, but Fuutarou must still pick one of the Nakano sisters by the very end. Success for Fuutarou’s proposal to the heroine depends on choices made throughout the story.
