Square Enix announced its slate of upcoming events for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis in the remainder for December 2023, going into mid-January 2024. Players are able to earn free rewards by simply logging into the game for the next few weeks.
Following the September 7 launch, Square Enix promised monthly story updates for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis with new events, characters, weapons, and rewards. The new RPG is a remake of the original Final Fantasy VII compilation with new elements and story content, including Sephiroth’s back story. December 2023 and January 2024 will be filled with tons of new content as well.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Events for December and January
In a newly released trailer on Twitter, Square Enix revealed all of the new events that will be available in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis from December 21 to mid-January 2024. Firstly, a new round of character quests are available, and players may participate in Boss Rush: Clash of Vengeance for enticing rewards. All players will earn 3,000 Blue Crystals as a gift as well.
Starting December 24, a Year-End Campaign will be live with a Metal Cactuar encounter event and up to 1,500 Blue Crystals as a login bonus. Moreover, Summon Bahamut will appear in a new Co-Op Challenge event.
The New Year’s Event will arrive on December 31, and players can expect another exciting gift around this time. A “New Year 1-Time-Only” 5-star guaranteed free x10 draw will be available to all players, so there’s plenty of rewards to obtain.
In mid-January 2024, a new story chapter will be added in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. The Critical Threat Sephiroth: The Arrival event will also receive a re-run, and more playable characters will be introduced.

Lastly, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the next installment in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, is approaching soon. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is scheduled for February 29, 2024 exclusively on PlayStation 5 consoles. This remake continues the story directly after the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
