TOHO Animation released a new trailer for SPY x FAMILY CODE: White anime film, revealing the ending theme song by Gen Hoshino! This is the final preview before the movie’s premiere in Japan.
The SPY x FAMILY Season 2 anime began airing on October 7, just a few months after the second cour of Season 1 ended. Season 2 comes to a close with episode 12 on December 23, and fans in Japan may watch the new SPY x FAMILY CODE: White in theaters that same weekend.
SPY x FAMILY CODE: White Ending Theme Song
Gen Hoshino performs the ending theme song Hikari no Ato (Trails of Light) for SPY x FAMILY CODE: White. As previously reported, the official theme song is “Soulsoup” by Official Hige Dandism. The latest trailer offers a 30-second sneak peek of the new anime film before its premiere on December 22 in Japan. Crunchyroll will distribute SPY x FAMILY CODE: White in theaters next year.

A new SPY x FAMILY CODE: White novel by Aya Yajima will also be released on December 22, the same day as the theatrical premiere. Yajima’s previous works include the SPY x FAMILY: Family Portrait novel. The 244-page novel will cost 814 yen in Japan, but an English release was not announced.
WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks produced the new film with Takashi Katagiri serving as director. Ichiro Okouchi is the scriptwriter, and Kazuaki Shimada is the character designer. Kana Ishida serves as the sub-character designer. Kyoji Asano is the chief animation director, and Kazuhiro Furuhashi is the animation supervisor. [K]NoW_NAME is the music producer with Shōji Hata as the sound director.
New episodes of SPY x FAMILY typically air on Saturdays at 11:00 p.m. JST. The anime airs on multiple channels in Japan, including TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and TV Setouchi. 30 minutes after a new episode airs in Japan, Crunchyroll and Hulu stream the new SPY x FAMILY episode with English subs. Lastly, the SPY x FAMILY manga is available to read right now on Manga Plus.
