The official website for SPY x FAMILY Season 2 confirms the anime will premiere on October 7, and a second new key visual was revealed. The upcoming SPY x FAMILY CODE: White film will premiere just a few months afterwards in Japanese theaters.
Tatsuya Endō’s SPY x FAMILY quickly became a hit following its serialization by Shueisha in March 2019. The anime adaptation premiered in April 2022 with the first cour, which was also streamed on Crunchyroll with an English dub. A second cour would follow in October 2022, and fans won’t have to wait much longer for season 2.
SPY x FAMILY Season 2 Anime Premiere
The anime’s official website reveals that SPY x FAMILY Season 2 will premiere on October 7 at 11:00 p.m. EDT / 10:00 a.m. EDT in Japan. The anime will air on the TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu channels. Additional channels plan to air the anime at a later date. Crunchyroll will simulcast the anime as it premieres in Japan. Fans can also look forward to the SPY x FAMILY CODE: White anime premiering on December 22.
Kazuhiro Furuhashi is directing the SPY x FAMILY Season 2 anime at WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks alongside assistant director Takahiro Harada. Moreover, Ichiro Okouchi s the new series script supervisor, replacing Furuhashi’s previous role. Okouchi is aided by assistant series script supervisors Daishiro Tanimura and Ayumu Hisao. Further, Kazuaki Shimada is the anime’s character designer, and [K]NoW_NAME is the music producer. Shōji Hata is the sound director.
