Eastasiasoft announced the Nintendo Switch version of Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 has been delayed to spring 2024. Originally, the game was planned to land on Nintendo Switch before the end of 2023.
In September 2022, Eastasiasoft announced Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 would come to Nintendo Switch in 2023. However, news about the action RPG remained scarce for most of the year, causing some speculation of a delay. The game has been delayed to spring 2024 after all, and more details about the physical release were revealed.
Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 Gets Delayed on Switch
In Eastasiasoft’s official press release, the company confirms Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 is in the final stages of development for Nintendo Switch. Softstar Entertainment Inc. and DOMO Studios’ RPG is being ported by Eastasiasoft Limited and Catness Game Studios, and more time is needed to ensure the utmost quality for the final release.
Moreover, the Nintendo Switch version will ship on a 16GB card. The card’s capacity ensures the game’s full file size, graphics, and cinematic presentation are intact for the physical release. Pre-orders for the Standard and Limited Editions will go live on December 22 at 10:00 a.m. ET at Playasia. Limited Edition contents include the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book, and numbered certificate in a collector’s box.
