During a recent Jump Festa 2024 panel, the staff of the upcoming EGGHEAD Arc of One Piece revealed more cast members joining the series. They also revealed the arc’s opening and ending theme.
Although One Piece is already one of the world’s most popular anime and manga franchise, the series went to new heights with Luffy’s Gear 5 transformation in the anime. Outside of the anime and manga releases, One Piece’s worldwide momentum continues with various games, including One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. Recently, Wit Studio announced that they will be remaking the entirety of the One Piece anime.
One Piece EGGHEAD Arc Cast and Theme Songs Revealed
In a recent Jump Festa 2024 panel, the staff of the One Piece franchise confirmed more cast members that will be joining the series. Youhei Tadano will play the role of Dr. Vegapunk, Shuuhei Sakaguchi will play Shaka, while Aya Hirano will play Lilith.
Additionally, Ryoko Shiraishi will play Edison, Tokuyoshi Kawashima will play Pythagoras, Kaede Hondo will play Atlas, and Mutsumi Tamura will play York. You can see the new characters in the visual above. Further, Hiroshi Kitadani will perform the arc’s opening theme, “A–su!.” Maki Otsuki will perform the ending theme, “Dear Sunrise.”
The original One Piece manga is available on Viz Media, MANGA Plus, and other local and online retailers. Additionally, the anime is available in its entirety on Crunchyroll. New episodes of One Piece typically air on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. JST across TV networks in Japan.
Crunchyroll simulcasts the One Piece anime on Saturdays at 10:00 p.m. EDT. One Piece is available to watch each week with Japanese audio and English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles. The streaming service describes it as follows:
