The Jump Festa 2024 stage revealed the third official trailer for the upcoming Kaiju No. 8 anime series, which will premiere in April 2024. More new cast members were revealed as well.
The Kaiju No. 8 manga by Naoya Matsumoto entered serialization in Manga Plus in 2020, and it’s still ongoing with a cult following backing its success. Ahead of Jump Festa 2024, the anime’s staff revealed a new key visual for Kaiju No. 8, with the promise of more information on the horizon. This new information came at the Jump Festa 2024 stage, which features news on many popular anime and manga works.
Kaiju No. 8 Anime 3rd Trailer, Staff, and Cast
The third official trailer for the Kaiju No. 8 anime reveals that Fairouz Ai and Kengo Kawanishi will be joining the cast as Kikoru Shinomiya and Soshiro Hoshina respectively. The two voice actors also shared two messages with fans regarding their upcoming roles via the anime’s official Twitter account.

“I’m truly honored to be entrusted with the wonderful character of Kikoru Shinomiya!” said Fairouz Ai. “I love how hard-working and confident she is, so I’m very happy to be
able to fight alongside her as a voice actress.”
“I will be voicing Soshiro Hoshina in the anime Kaiju No. 8,” said Kengo Kawanishi. “As a reader, I had been looking forward to seeing new stories published on Jump+. I heard the result from my manager at last year’s Jump Festa, and I thought ‘You are telling me that now?!’ I was so happy and I couldn’t help but look forward to the dubbing. The staff and actors are currently working hard on the recording, so we would appreciate it if you could wait for a while until the broadcast.”
