Kadokawa has released a new promo video for the upcoming 3rd season of Classroom of the Elite, previewing the season’s theme song. The first episode of season 3 will premiere on January 3.
The upcoming anime series is based on the light novels by Shogo Kinugasa and Sunsaku Tomose. Two seasons of the anime adaptation have already aired in Japan and on Crunchyroll. The anime’s staff announced the third season during New York Comic Con 2023 this past October. Classroom of the Elite Season 3 kicks off the new year just a few days after it begins.
Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Theme Song Revealed
Kadokawa has released a new promo video for Classroom of the Elite season 3. The promo reveals the season’s theme song. ZAQ will perform the opening theme, “Minor Piece.” Additionally, Yui Ninomiya will perform the ED, “Konsei Dai Kakumei” (The Great Revolution of this World). Check out the new promo video below:
Episode 1 of Classroom of the Elite Season 3 will premiere on January 3 at 22:30 JST on AT-X in Japan, followed by Tokyo MX and other channels in subsequent blocks. In a new blog post, Crunchyroll confirmed that the streaming service will simulcast the anime as it premieres in Japan.
Studio Lerche is producing the anime with Hiroyuki Hashimoto and Seiji Kishi serving as chief directors and Yoshihito Nishoji serving as another director. Hayato Kazano handles the series composition, and Kazuaki Morita is the anime’s character designer.

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it’s said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school’s problem children.
What’s more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class.
One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school…
