Like a Dragon Gaiden English Dub Update Now Available

    At long last.

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced the Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name English dub update is available now! The update comes just one month before the launch of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the direct sequel to both Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

Kazuma Kiryu becomes a Daidoji Faction agent after the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. In a story told before Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Kiryu must adapt to his new life away from his family while dealing with the criminal underworld. Starting today, Like a Dragon fans may experience the game’s story with the English dub for the first time.

Like a Dragon Gaiden English Dub

The official RGG Studio Twitter account confirms that the English dub update for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is live on all platforms. Major updates in the same vein as this one are unlikely, as RGG Studio shifts its focus to the release of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Sawashiro informs Ichiban Kasuga that Akane, Ichiban’s biological mother, is still alive in Hawaii. However, Kasuga is quickly drawn into trouble after arriving. Kazuma Kiryu also happens to be in Hawaii following the ending of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game includes the Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Special Trial Version, which is unlocked after finishing Gaiden’s main story. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth launches on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
