A new promotional video for the Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ franchise revealed more cast members and the premiere date for the upcoming anime. Many prolific voice actors will be joining Toshiya Miyata in the cast, including Jun Fukuyama and Eri Yukamura.
Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ is the sixth season of the “D Series,” which began with the first season of Cardfight Vanguard overDress in April 2021. The Cardfight Vanguard franchise would feature up to nine seasons of D Series anime, so fans can expect three more seasons in the next two years. Ahead of the January 2024 premiere, Bushiroad is revealing more cast members for the anime series.
Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ Anime Cast Members
Several cast members will be joining Toshiya Miyata, who plays Akina Myōdō in the Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ anime. These new cast members include:
- Jun Fukuyama as Gabwelius
- Eri Yukimura as Hikari Myōdō
- Yūka Nishio as Nao Inabe
- Reiji Kawashima as Suo Yobitsugi
- Haruki Iwata as Mikoto Saito
- Takumi Mano as Taizo Kiyokura
- Shūta Morishima as Masanori Iseki
- Amane Shindō as Megumi Okura
Moreover, the latest promotional video confirms V.W.P (Virtual Witch Phenomenon) will perform the opening theme song “Kirifuda” (Trump Card). Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ will premiere on January 13, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. JST according to the anime’s official Twitter account. The anime will air on TV Aichi, TV Tokyo, Amazon Prime Video, the official Cardfight Vanguard YouTube channel, and other streaming services.

The Cardfight Vanguard overDress anime launched in April 2021 and ran for two seasons. After the first two season, the D series continued in Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress for three consecutive seasons. As a result, DivineZ is considered season six of the anime series. A seventh season premieres in mid-2024, followed by the eighth and ninth seasons in early 2025 and mid-2025 respectively. A “10th season and beyond” is currently being planned.
Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress season one premiered on July 2022. The second season premiered this past January, and the third season premiered on July 8, 2023. HIDIVE streamed the Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress anime as the first season aired. Crunchyroll and HIDIVE streamed second season’s premiere in January, so fans can expect Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ to be released on these same platforms.
Lastly, the Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ anime on January 13, 2024, and it’s expected to end before summer 2024.
