    Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Ending Theme Music Video Released

    TOHO Animation released a special music video for the ending theme song of the ongoing Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime series. The music video confirms that milet’s “Anytime Anywhere” single will continue to be the ending theme song in the second cour. 

    The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will run for two consecutive cours with a total of 28 episodes throughout its run. Episode 14 recently aired in Japan, marking the half-way point for the current anime series. The second cour will begin in January 2024, and the latest music video commemorates the anime’s successful run thus far.

    The music video confirms that “Anytime Anywhere” by milet will continue to be the ending theme song of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Additionally, the second cour will continue in January 2024, so fans will not have to wait long at all for the anime to continue. Episode 15 will premiere on December 15 at 11:15 p.m. JST due to a slight scheduling change.

    New episodes of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End normally air on Fridays at 9:00 p.m. JST on Nippon Television (NTV) in Japan. Fans outside of Japan may watch Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End episode anime on Crunchyroll on Fridays at 8:00 a.m. PDT. The anime series will air in two cours with the first cour running this fall and the second cour running this winter and into March.

    The mage Frieren defeated the Demon King alongside the hero Himmel’s party after a 10-year quest. Peace was restored to the kingdom. Because she is an elf, she is able to live over a thousand years. She promises Himmel and the others that she will be back to see them and then sets out on a journey by herself. Fifty years later, Frieren goes to visit Himmel and the others. She remained unchanged, but Himmel and the others have aged and only a little of their lives remain. Later, she witnesses Himmel’s death. Frieren is pained by her desire to have spent more time getting to know people. With that regret in her heart, she then goes on a journey to do just that. On her journey, she meets many people and many events await her.
