SEGA have released the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis 2.5th anniversary update featuring the “Super Genesis Festival” campaign. Players may earn special reward by participating in the event through January 24, 2024.
The latest episode of NGS Headline revealed the December 2023 round of updates for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. This broadcast included a plethora of information on Super Genesis Festival, a new collaboration with Black Lagoon and The Seven Deadly Sins, and so much more.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis 2.5th Anniversary
The Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis 2.5th anniversary update kicks off the Super Genesis Festival. During the campaign, players may earn 2.5 million N-Meseta, 2 Legacy Coordination Badges ,and other valuable items by completing the story through Chapter 5. Players may also use the Salon free-of-charge, and various log-in bonuses and item discounts will be active.
Moreover, it’s now easier to raise Battle Power and obtain Gold Primm II items and Arms Refiners II. Players now have more chances to obtain useful equipment in the latest campaign and events up to level 70 as well. An increase in rare item drops, including the 10-star Flugelgard series and 9-star weapons, will help players get stronger. Special Scratches will also offer greater rewards.
Alongside the Super Genesis Festival, players may progress through Chapter 6 Part 4 of the main story. Aina is working hard as an ARKS instructor, but players must help her become better at teaching rookies ARKS. Meanwhile, Manon seems a bit off while working for the Recon Team.
The Joyful Holly-Days AC Scratch Ticket will be available starting today as well. This Scratch Ticket includes various Christmas-themed cosmetics for ARKS operatives to wear in the field. Plenty more updates will release throughout the month of December 2023, and the next episode of NGS Headline will arrive on December 26.
Lastly, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store, Windows, and Steam.
