Monster Hunter Now Season 6 – Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam Begins June 19

Features new monsters, mechanics, and a weapon type.

Niantic has announced that season 6 of Monster Hunter Now will release on June 19 on both iOS and Android. The season is titled “Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam.”

The season adds brand-new Riftborne monsters. These are stronger monsters that appear at 8 stars or higher. The following monsters are described as Riftborne: Barroth, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Anjanath, Rathian, and Barioth. Additionally, several regular monsters will release, such as Nargacuga, Beotodus, Bishaten, and Great Wroggi. You will also be able upgrade and change the mechanics of weapons with the new Style Customization feature.

The last major addition to the season is the Hunting Horn, a beloved weapon type from the Monster Hunter franchise. The horn boosts both yourself and your allies while hunting. While attacking, you accumulate notes. When you align those notes in a specific order, you can trigger various melody effects. These melody effects can include increased attack and defense stats, Special Gauge acceleration, and more. Each weapon has its own unique melody effects. All these features will be available in Monster Hunter Now when season 6 releases next week.

Monster Hunter Wilds is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon gave Monster Hunter Wilds a 4/5 score, noting that it’s an excellent entry in the long-running series and a worthy follow-up to Capcom’s most successful game ever. Despite the performance issues, Capcom delivers one of the best-feeling combat systems in Monster Hunter Wilds along with the franchise’s first legitimate story mode.

Lastly, Monster Hunter Now is available now on iOS and Android.
