Ascendance of a Bookworm New Anime Details
TO Books recently announced that a new Ascendance of a Bookworm anime is in-development. The previous three television anime seasons covered the light novel series’ first two parts. The new anime will adapt Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke of the light novel series. It is unknown when the new anime will premiere or who the cast and crew will entail.
The anime is available in its entirety on Crunchyroll. Here’s a description of the anime series via Crunchyroll:
Avid bookworm and college student Motosu Urano ends up dying in an unforeseen accident. This came right after the news that she would finally be able to work as a librarian like she had always dreamed of. When she regained consciousness, she was reborn as Main, the daughter of a poor soldier.
She was in the town of Ehrenfest, which had a harsh class system. But as long as she had books, she didn’t really need anything else. However, books were scarce and belonged only to the nobles. But that doesn’t stop her, so she makes a decision… “If there aren’t any books, I’ll just create some.”
The original Ascendance of a Bookworm light novel series is available now on J-Novel Club and other local and online retailers. The original anime adaptation is available on Crunchyroll. The next anime will adapt the Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke arc.
