    Gushing Over Magical Girls Trailer Reveals Cast & January Release Date

    A new trailer for the Gushing Over Magical Girls anime series reveals more cast members and a January 3 premiere date. Three separate versions of the anime have also been revealed.

    The Gushing Over Magical Girls manga by author Akihiro Ononaka entered serialization in Takeshobo’s Manga Life Storia magazine in 2019. Takeshobo ceasing publishing of the magazine, but the manga continued to release via the company’s Storia Dash website. The new anime series by Asahi Production will debut on January 3 with three versions.

    Gushing Over Magical Girls Release Date and Versions

    Gushing Over Magical Girls will premiere on January 3 at 11:30 p.m. JST / 9:30 a.m. EDT on AT-X channel in Japan. The anime will also air on BS11, TV Tokyo, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. The TV broadcast version of Gushing Over Magical Girls will censor certain audio and visuals from the “gushing” version, which will be streamed. The gushing version censors some of the visuals, while the “ultra-gushing” version will not have censorship at all. The ultra-gushing version of Gushing Over Magical Girls will be available on Blu-ray and DVD.

    Tadato Suzuki will direct the new Gushing Over Magical Girls anime at Asahi Production. Suzuki is joined by co-director Atsushi Ootsuki and series script writer Noboru Kimura. Character designs are handled by Yasuka Ōtaki, and Satoshi Motoyama is the anime’s sound director. Moreover, Yasuharu Takanashi, Akinari Suzuki, and Johannes Nilsson serve as composers with Lantis in charge of music production.
