The latest issue of Weekly Jump confirms that Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board will release on April 25, 2024 for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The game’s official Japanese title is Kimetsu no Yaiba Mezase! Saikyō Taishi!
The previous game in the popular anime/manga series was Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles, which was published by SEGA and developed by CyberConnect2. Following Aniplex Online Fest 2023, Aniplex launched a new official Japanese website for Kimetsu no Yaiba Mezase! Saikyō Taishi!, the upcoming Mario Party-inspired Nintendo Switch game.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board’s Japanese Release
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board releases on April 25, 2024 for Nintendo Switch in Japan, and an exact worldwide release date has not been confirmed yet. However, a simultaneous worldwide release is possible if Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles serves as an indicator of future releases. In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!, players will explore a dynamic world designed like a board game. Each board features memorable locations from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, including Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa. As the time-of-day changes from day and night, the spaces of each board changes, bringing new events and opportunities for players to discover as they plan their next move.
Choose from a cast of fan-favorite characters including Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and 9 Hashiras before engaging in fun, exciting multiplayer action for up to 4 players, either locally or online. Nezuko Kamado will also join in on the fun as a support character. Take on a variety of thrilling mini-games, meet familiar characters, work together to defeat dangerous demons lurking in the night, and aim to become the most powerful demon slayer among the rest!
