Bandai Namco released a new Tekken 8 gameplay trailer for returning character Steve Fox, a young British boxer and fan-favorite fighter from Tekken 7. He originally made his debut in Tekken 4.
Reina is the final base roster character for Tekken 8, and she was certainly a surprise when she was revealed. Her Mishima-style martial arts make her a formidable threat. However, Tekken 8 players can even the odds with returning characters like Leo and Steve Fox joining the fray.
Steve Fox Returns in Tekken 8
Middleweight boxing world champion Steve Fox returns in search of a new fighting style in Tekken 8. When the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 8 begins, Steve’s counter-punching and boxing prowess will prove to be useful against old and new fighters. As shown in the latest gameplay trailer, Steve also has many new moves in his repertoire.

Steve Fox is a middleweight boxing world champion whose ingenious technique and pace control in the ring have charmed countless audiences. Raised in a facility owned by the Mishima Zaibatsu, Steve went on a search for his real parents the moment he learned he was just a test subject.

All 32 characters that will be available at launch have been revealed. Harada is considering crossover characters for Tekken 8, but these will be considered after the game’s launch.

Tekken 8 physical and digital pre-orders are now available, and players can score new Paul Phoenix avatar costumes as an added pre-order bonus. Additionally, PlayStation 5 players earn exclusive Mokujin and Tetsujin avatar costumes with their pre-order. The Deluxe Edition includes all standard items, the Kinjin Avatar skin, and the Playable Character Year 1 Pass. This pass includes four characters released after the game’s launch. Moreover, the Deluxe Edition includes a Gold Suit Pack of playable character costumes for all 32 characters.
Lastly, Tekken 8 launches January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
