Konami has released update 1.3.1 for Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1. The patch is now live on all consoles.
After many years of rumors, Konami announced Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 alongside the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater this past May. One month later, Nintendo confirmed a Nintendo Switch version of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 will be released. Konami released the collection in October for all consoles.
Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 Update 1.3.1 Patch Notes
The 1.3.1 update for the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 fixes several issues for all consoles. This new patch mostly focuses on the PlayStation and Xbox releases. The update changes the in-game browser on Xbox to Microsoft Edge, and bugs to trophies in the PlayStation 4 version were fixed. Going forward, trophies should unlock normally for PlayStation 4 players after completing the requisite action.

METAL GEAR SOLID 2: Sons of Liberty – Master Collection Version
- Changed the in-game browser to Microsoft Edge (Xbox Series X|S)
- Fixed an issue where sometimes trophies weren’t properly unlocked (PlayStation®4)
- Please note that some trophies cannot be unlocked immediately upon loading save data even if the requirements have previously been met. The requirements of these trophies must be met again in order for them to be unlocked.
- Fixed some minor issues and made additional adjustments (Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4)
