Famitsu announced that Sabotage Studio-developed turn-based RPG Sea of Stars will be featured in the December 14 issue of its weekly magazine. The new issue includes a 16-page special feature dedicated to the critically acclaimed RPG.
Released on August 29, Sea of Stars quickly became one of the most successful indie games of 2023 with rave reviews. Final Weapon’s review of Sea of Stars notes that the game is an homage to classic RPGs and a highlight of the entire year. Fans will be able to learn more about the game’s development in the upcoming Famitsu issue.

The December 14 issue of Famitsu will release on November 30 with a 16-page feature for Sea of Stars. This feature offers highlights of the new RPG, which is nominated for The Game Awards 2023 awards. On Twitter, Sabotage Studio thanks Famitsu for featuring its game on the iconic magazine.

iam8bit will distribute a physical edition of Sea of Stars in early 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S versions. However, the PlayStation 4 version was not confirmed for the physical release. In addition, fans in Europe may look forward to the physical release.
