8bitdo recently revealed a new controller licensed by Genshin Impact and based on one of the game’s characters, Chongyun. The controller will be available on December 18.
8bitdo is known for several controllers, beloved by many for their affordability and form-fitting design. With their next controller, they will be collaborating with HoYoverse’s hit game, Genshin Impact. Genshin is a beloved action RPG with gacha elements, available now on all mobile and console devices.
8bitdo Genshin Impact Controller Details
8bitdo will be releasing a new controller based on Genshin Impact in December 2023. The controller will cost $59.99 and be compatible with Android, Apple, and PC devices (including the Steam Deck). The controller features a 2.4G, Bluetooth, and wired connection. 2 Pro back paddle buttons and custom profile switch button. 3 profiles, switch on the fly. It is available for pre-order on Amazon.
The controller also comes with a special collector’s bundle. On 8bitdo’s official website, they talk about the bundle, stating that “8BitDo teamed up with Genshin Impact to create this exclusive package that comprises an additional meticulously designed 7-piece gift set.
Apart from a limited-edition 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller, the bundle also features a travel case, a keychain, a fridge magnet, and four joystick caps.”
The controller is based on one of many characters from Liyue Harbor, Chongyun. The official website describes him as follows:

Lastly, 8bitdo Genshin Impact Chongyun Controller will be available on December 18. It is available now for pre-order. Genshin Impact is available now on Android, iOS, PC via Windows and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
