    DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition Now Available for Switch

    More Chronos Universe games coming to Switch, too.

    After much anticipation, IzanagiGames and MyDearest have released DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch. A free demo is also available for those who want to try out the new mystery adventure game before making a purchase. 

    DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition is exclusive to Nintendo Switch with an all-new story scenario and all three Episodes. The game supports English and Japanese voice-over options with English, Japanese, French, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean text options. 

    DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition for Switch 

    Although VR is not supported on Nintendo Switch, DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition supports optional gyro features with the Joy-Cons. Effects and camerawork have also been tweaked an optimized for a non-VR experience. For those playing the demo, save data may be transferred to the full game, allowing you to continue from where they left off. The full game costs $49.99 on the Nintendo eShop.

    To celebrate the game’s release, MyDearest is hosting an X (formerly Twitter) giveaway for 10 lucky entrants to win a 20 USD Amazon.com Gift Card. Users simply post a screenshot or gameplay footage of their favorite DYSCHRONIA scene using the Nintendo Switch Album feature, along with the giveaway hashtags for a chance to win. According to MyDearest, the hashtags are already applied when using the Album share feature.

    After finishing all the content in DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition, players may look forward to portable versions of TOKYO CHRONOS & ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos. Both of these games will be bundled together in TOKYO CHRONOS & ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos – TWIN PACK, which launches in 2024. MyDearest notes that both games are optimized for Nintendo Switch, since the platform does not support VR. More details are coming in the near future, so stay tuned.

    Finally, DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate is also available now for PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest 2. A PC (Steam) version is also coming soon.
