The staff of the upcoming anime Urusei Yatsura has revealed three more characters that will be joining in the second half of the series. The anime will premiere in January 2024.
Urusei Yatsura is an adaptation of the manga by Rumiko Takahashi, and it first aired in 1981. The anime began again in October 2022. It will last for four parts with a total of forty-six episodes. More details about the anime’s second half will be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
Urusei Yatsura Three More Characters Revealed for Second Half
Three new characters have been revealed for Urusei Yatsura’s second half. The first is Shingo, Shutaro Mendo’s bodyguard. Nobunaga Shimazaki provides the voice of the character. Next is Kokeru Moroboshi, who according to Crunchyroll, is part of a “time-bending story that hints at one possible future for Ataru and… someone…” Motoko Kumai provides the voice of the character.
Lastly, there is Nozomi. Manaka Iwami voices the ghost girl, who first appeared in episode 157 of the original anime. The anime will reveal more details about the characters mentioned above when the series’ second half airs in January 2024.
