We got a lot of information today for CyberConnect2’s (CC2) Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections. To explain, the game is coming out very soon, and fans are excited! The developers caught wind of this and held a fan meeting at CyberConnect2’s Tokyo Studio to celebrate the release. There was even a live stream showing off some gameplay today! Naruto Storm Connections News – Other Costumes Are Coming Soon!
There are a lot of exciting costumes coming to Naruto Storm Connections at launch! For instance, you can get the Maskless Kakashi costume by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition. In addition to the costumes available at launch, CC2 announced more costumes that will be coming in the future. This is an excellent addition for those who love personalizing their characters!
The developer stated that they will deliver these new costumes as downloadable content (DLC). CC2 never expanded on whether the costumes would be free or paid. Based on previous titles, it’s likely that some of these will be paid DLC.
New Ways to Play The Game
As of now, CC2 has confirmed that you can play casual and ranked matches online at launch. However, some of the classic online modes that used to be in previous Naruto Storm games are now missing. During the fan meeting, players learned that new modes would be coming and even new ways to play. Adding classic modes in the future is good, but introducing new ways to play the game is very exciting!
This isn’t the first time CyberConnect2 has played around with Naruto Storm gameplay. For example, in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, there was a ninja world tournament mode in the story. You could fight against 4 CPU players in an arena and fight for points. We’ll have to wait and see if CC2 can do something similar to that or utterly different with Naruto Storm Connections.
All Characters Will Be Available At Launch
That’s right! All characters will be available at launch for the first time in Naruto Storm history! Bandai Namco US announced this information in the gameplay live stream’s Twitch chat. This is excellent news for Naruto Storm Connections because, in older games, you had to play through the story mode to unlock them. Now, you’ll be able to see who you’d like to play the moment you get the game.
Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections launches on November 17 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The PC release date has not been announced at this time.
