Persona 5 Tactica Shares Producer Developer Diary Video

Insight into planning for the new strategy RPG.

ATLUS has begun to release a new developer video series featuring key members of the Persona 5 Tactica development team at P-Studio. The first developer video features insight from Persona 5 Tactica producer Atsushi Nomura.

Persona 5 Tactica is a new tactical RPG featuring the returning Phantom Thieves and original characters such as the revolutionary Erina and up-and-coming Diet member Toshiro. Joker and his crew will battle enemies across a variety of maps set in a outlandish realm with similarities to the Metaverse. Producer Atsushi Nomura discusses the game and his role in the latest developer diary video.

Atsushi Nomura has been involved with Persona since development of Persona 5 Royal, and he worked as a business producer for the remastered versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. Moreover, he is the Persona 5 Tactica business producer, which involves planning and coordination of promotions for the game. Nomura notes that ATLUS received many requests in the past for a Persona strategy game, and Persona 5 Tactica was envisioned as the best opportunity to deliver on such requests. The developer goes on to explain many of the game’s mechanics and concepts.
