SEGA and HARDlight have announced Sonic Dream Team, a brand-new 3D Sonic the Hedgehog action platformer for Apple Arcade. The game will be available on December 5, and more details about the game have been revealed in the App Store.
Before Sonic Dream Team, SEGA wrapped up post-launch support for Sonic Frontiers with the Final Horizon update. The company also released the game’s official soundtrack. Sonic’s adventure continues on December 5 with the Apple Arcade-exclusive game.
Sonic Dream Team for Apple Arcade
Sonic is joined by Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Amy, and Cream in a new original storyline in Sonic Dream Team. In fact, all of these aforementioned characters are playable in solo and multiplayer modes, such as 6-player online co-op. SEGA notes that the new game will offer a “cross-platform experience” across Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV platforms that support Apple Arcade. Moreover, SEGA boasts that Green Hill Zone will not be in the game as it focuses on never-before-seen worlds.
