The most recent update for Genshin Impact is Version 4.1, which introduced Neuvillette and Wriothesley as playable 5-star characters during two consectutive phases. Genshin Impact Version 4.1 also featured a new explorable area, several limited-time events, banner re-re-runs, new features, and new gear. Players can expect the continuation of the main story in Genshin Impact Version 4.2.

The Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program will air on October 27 at 08:00 a.m. (UTC-4). This livestreamed event will detail all of the new story content, playable characters, in-game events, and so much more coming in Version 4.2. Additionally, several redemption codes will be released with rewards like Primogems and Mora. Fans may tune into the livestream on the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel. One hour later at 9:00 a.m. (UTC-4), the Genshin Impact Version 4.2 Special Program will premiere on the game’s official YouTube channel.
