Square Enix announced a brand-new Halloween-themed event will be held in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis featuring a Chocobo costume for Aerith. Players will soon be able to earn some event-exclusive rewards to celebrate the spookiest time of the year.
Released on September 7, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis quickly became a notable success following the closure of The First Soldier. In fact, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis surpassed six million downloads in less than two weeks’ time. Fans may celebrate the game’s first Halloween event with a new Aerith costume.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Chocobo Aerith Event
The Pumpkin Fest: Where Darkness Gathers Seasonal Story event will include the new Chocobo Aerith costume alongside new weapons and gear in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. Like the Beach Festival Fun event, players must collect exchangeable items in order to acquire the event-exclusive rewards. Fans may also earn a new wallpaper by progressing through the limited-time event. The game’s Japanese Twitter account notes that the event will begin on October 20 at 11:00 JST.

Moreover, Cawpine Caverns and Logues Ruins Very Hard difficulty have been added to Crisis Dungeons. Players who complete these dungeons will earn Blue Crystals and new recipes needed for Materia synthesis. The latest in-game notice provides more details about the new dungeons.
A new PC (Steam) version of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is currently in development. The Steam version will share data with the mobile version, so cross-saves and cross-play are likely to be included. Further details about the Steam version were not announced, however.
Lastly, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is out now for Android and iOS. The Steam version is coming soon.
