Capcom announced a free Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update is now available, and the PC version is now Steam Deck verified. The update also brings Latin American Spanish language support to all platforms, allowing even more players from Central and South America to begin hunting monsters.

Released in January 2019 for consoles and January 2020 for PC, the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion introduced several new monsters, a new story, new locales, and so much more. Content updates for the game and its DLC ceased around the launch of Monster Hunter Rise for Nintendo Switch. However, a surprise new update brings some much needed quality-of-life improvements for Steam Deck users.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Gets Major Steam Deck Update

Version 15.20 is now available for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Latin American Spanish may be selected as a language option on all platforms, and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is Steam Deck verified. This means the game now natively supports the Steam Deck’s features without a wide degree of compatibility issues. Capcom demonstrated the game running on Steam Deck in a new video shared to the official Twitter account:
