Bandai Namco and Groove Box Japan announced SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories will launch first for Nintendo Switch in Japan on December 21. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions will release in 2024 in Japan, and various physical editions were revealed.
In SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories, players may explore the daily life of Anya. Various characters from the series will appear as Anya compiles her photo diary. The western release is scheduled for 2024, and SPY x FAMILY fans in Japan will be able to play the new title just in time for Christmas.
SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories Japan Launch
Bandai Namco’s latest press release confirms more details about the launch of SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories in Japan, which is known as SPY x FAMILY: Operation Diary. The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions will be sold physically, but the PlayStation 4 release is digital only. Standard and “Going Out” Editions will be sold. Going Out Edition contents include the physical game, a special box, tote bag, two acrylic key chains, masking tape, and a hologram sticker.

Moreover, a Digital Deluxe Edition will be sold featuring the digital game and the “Deluxe Going Out Pack”. This DLC pack includes the “Bond Dress” and “Bond Hat” for Anya and the bonus “Director Chimera Hat.” In addition, early purchases for any of the physical or digital editions will include the Agent Set costumes for Loid, Anya, Yor, and Bond.


SPY x FAMILY Season 2 premieres on October 7 at 11:00 p.m. EDT / 10:00 a.m. EDT in Japan. Crunchyroll will simulcast the anime as it premieres in Japan. Fans can also look forward to the SPY x FAMILY CODE: White anime premiering on December 22.
