Schell Games has announced that Among Us VR will be coming soon to the PlayStation VR2. Additionally, the developers confirmed that the game is no longer in development for the original PlayStation VR.
Among Us VR is, as the name implies, a virtual reality version of the critically acclaimed social deduction game. Innersloth, Schell Games, and Robot Teddy initially released the game on November 10, 2022, for Meta Quest and Steam VR. The original Among Us experience is available now on all consoles.
Among Us VR Coming to PlayStation VR2
Among Us VR will release for the PSVR2 and require its sense controllers. In-game purchases are present and up to ten online players are supported. The official PlayStation Store describes the game as follows:
Among Us VR is a party game of teamwork and betrayal. Grab your crew and headset and launch into the VR version of this hit multiplayer deduction game. Play with 4 – 10 players as you complete tasks to hold your ship together. But beware! One or more random players among the crew are Impostors bent on sabotaging and killing everyone.
In this game, you’ll play as either a Crewmate or an Impostor.
- Crewmate Mission: Complete all the tasks or find the Impostor. Keep your eyes and ears open since there is always someone lurking right around the corner.
- Impostor Mission: Kill and sabotage the Crewmates! Be as sneaky as possible and lie, lie, lie.

Lastly, Among Us VR will be coming soon to the PlayStation VR2. At the time of writing, the game’s developers have not yet confirmed when the game will release. The game is available now on Steam VR and Meta Quest. Additionally, the original Among Us game is available on iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
