The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Anime Reveals Ending Song

    Performed by Shadow Garden Numbers.

Kadokawa announced the ending theme song for The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 anime and the artists that will perform it: Shadow Garden Numbers. This particular group is made up of characters from the series, so the voice actors are stepping up to perform.

Daisuke Aizawa’s The Eminence in Shadow light novel series was a major success following its debut in 2018. In 2019, the manga adaptation by Anri Sakano began serialization in Kadokawa’s Comp Ace magazine. The first season of the anime would arrive roughly three years later in October 2022, and the second season arrives just one year after that.

The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Ending Theme Song and Artist

Kadokawa confirms that Ikumi Hasegawa, Maaya Uchida, Mayu Minami, and Ryōko Maekawa will perform the ending theme song “Polaris in the Night” for The Eminence in Shadow Season 2. As previously discussed, the opening theme song will be “grayscale dominator” by music duo OxT. Season 2 will premiere on October 4, so The Eminence in Shadow fans only need to wait a week and a half more before the premiere.

Kazuya Nakanishi is directing the anime at Nexus. Makoto Iino is the character designer, and Kanichi Katou will oversee the series scripts. In addition, composer Kenichiro Suehiro is in charge of the anime’s score.

Where to Watch Season 1 and 2

The first season of The Eminence in Shadow anime is available to stream right now on HIDIVE. The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will also be available on HIDIVE with English dubs and subs. Season 2 will have a total of 12 episodes. For fans who don’t want to wait, The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden game is also available right now for Android and iOS.

Lastly, here’s an overview of the anime series via HIDIVE:

Some people just aren’t suited to playing the part of the flashy, in-your-face hero or the dastardly, mustache-twirling villain with larger-than-life panache. Instead, they operate in the shadows and pull the strings of society through wit and cleverness. That’s the role Cid wants to play when he’s transported to another world. Cid spins a yarn or three and becomes the unlikely leader of the underground Shadow Garden organization that fights against a menacing cult (which he totally made up). However, there’s a catch even his wild imagination didn’t see coming: the cult he concocted actually exists, and they’re beyond displeased that his power fantasy just got in the way of their evil plans!
