Tekken 8 Story Mode and Character Episodes
Harada and Murray revealed the official title for the Tekken 8 story mode—The Dark Awakens. The story takes place roughly six months after the death of Heihachi Mishima and the end of Tekken 7’s story mode. Footage was shown of an interaction between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima before the two proceeded to fight. Additionally, Tekken 8 includes Character Episodes for all 32 base roster characters. Players may unlock these additional pieces of content by playing through Tekken 8.
In Arcade Quest, players may learn the basics of Tekken 8 and become proficient with techniques. The arcade guide, Max, helps players “create their own story” according to Harada and Murray. This guide will offer advice and help players apply what they’ve learned in combat.
