Visual Arts/Key has announced that their visual novel Stella of the End will be released in English. It will be available on PC via Steam on September 25.
Visual Arts/Key initially released Stella of the End in 2022 in Japan. The developers later ported the “kinetic novel” to iOS and Android. Key is known for several other kinetic novels such as LOOPERS and Lunaria: Virtual Moonchild which were both initially released in 2021. Both games are available now on iOS, Android, and PC, and LOOPERS is available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, too.
Stella of the End English Release Details
Stella of the End will be available on PC via Steam on September 25. The game is available to wishlist before its release next week. It will include English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese language options. Stella of the End will go live at 14:00 JST or 1 AM EDT. The store page describes the game as follows:
The world no longer belongs to humanity.
Giant machines now roam the earth, pushing mankind to the brink of extinction.
Jude Gray, a wandering Courier, receives a request to deliver some very special cargo. This cargo turns out to be Philia, an android girl who is unaffected by the enigmatic Singularity Machines.
Jude is left with no choice but to escort Philia to her destination, doing his best to protect her from harm and teach her how to survive in this harsh world. Together, they must traverse the hostile wilderness, avoiding threats both mechanical and human.
The whole time, Philia insists she’s going to become human someday.
What awaits Jude and Philia at the end of the road? Can humanity really be saved, or is it already too late…?
