Death Stranding: Director’s Cut Compatible with M1 iPads

    Available across the Apple ecosystem.

    Published:

Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions confirmed that Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will be playable on iPads with an M1 chip and higher. This follows the news from a few weeks back that Kojima Productions would be bringing the game to iPhone 15 Pro. If you buy the title on any device, you will have access to it across the entire Apple ecosystem of devices including iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

This Summer at WWDC, Hideo Kojima appeared, where he was able to showcase Death Stranding: Director’s Cut running on Mac devices. The game will be available across any Mac with an M1 chip or newer.

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is an expanded version of the original title. It adds new features and minigames, such as racing. Additionally, the expanded edition added a few hours of new story content through new missions. The added sequence was very heavy on stealth, and the trailer played off of Metal Gear Solid, Kojima’s iconic past work.
