With Microsoft’s cutting edge cloud technology, Kojima will be able to develop a game he’s always wanted to. It will take some time before the new game is able to be shown, but Kojima hopes fans are eager for exciting news in the future.

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer reiterated the focus on the latest and greatest games from Japan during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. Shortly before the Hideo Kojima announcement, Atlus announced various Persona JRPGs are coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC starting this fall. In addition, Xbox Game Studios announced a new IP from Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja.
