Hideo Kojima confirms work on a new game with Xbox Game Studios

    During Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, Hideo Kojima took the stage to confirm he’s working on a new game with Xbox Game Studios. With Microsoft’s cutting edge cloud technology, Kojima will be able to develop a game he’s always wanted to. It will take some time before the new game is able to be shown, but Kojima hopes fans are eager for exciting news in the future.

    Announcing a New Partnership Between Xbox Game Studios and Kojima Productions

    Today, we also announced a partnership between Xbox Game Studios and Kojima Productions to create a video game for Xbox like no one has ever experienced or seen before leveraging the power of the cloud. Hideo Kojima is one of the most innovative and creative minds in our industry we can’t wait to share what our teams will create together.

    Head of Xbox Phil Spencer reiterated the focus on the latest and greatest games from Japan during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. Shortly before the Hideo Kojima announcement, Atlus announced various Persona JRPGs are coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC starting this fall. In addition, Xbox Game Studios announced a new IP from Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja.
