Thirdverse have announced Soul Covenant, a new “tactical action” VR game launching in early 2024. The game is coming to PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, and PCVR, and a playable build will be available at Tokyo Game Show 2023.
Soul Covenant is a title developed by former Soul Sacrifice developers from Marvelous AQL and Japan Studio. The new title depicts a near-future dystopia Japan where humans and machines wage war. As a tactical action game, Soul Covenant places the protagonist directly into the drama and dangerous combat scenarios.

According to Thirdverse, Soul Covenant is being developed as the “culmination of VR action” that the studio cultivated over time. The title aims to provide a dramatic world with a memorable story, soundtrack, and bounty of character designs. Players will be able to check out this new game at the Thirdverse booth (9 Hall 09-E23) located in the VR/AR area of Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 9.

Set in a near-future desolate Japan, this game depicts a fierce battle between humanity and machines.
