The official X (Twitter) account for the upcoming Rail Romanesque 2 anime series reveals a new promo trailer ahead of its October 6 premiere. Several voice cast members for the anime series were revealed as well.
Earlier this month, Maitetsu series developer RaRo confirmed Rail Romanesque Origin will release on December 21, roughly two months after the anime’s premiere. This new game includes revamped content from the original Maitetsu, content from Maitetsu: Last Run!!, and sequels to each route.
Rail Romanesque 2 Promo Trailer Highlights the Cast
Rail Romanesque 2 will make its debut on October 5 at 12:00 p.m. EDT / October 6 at 1:00 a.m. JST as the second season for the ongoing anime series. A newly released promotional trailer highlights a minute of the new anime through various scenes. In addition, various members of the voice cast were revealed.
The voice cast of Rail Romanesque 2 includes:
- Rie Tanaka as Kaniko
- Aya Yamane as Noir
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Nako
- Rina Hidaka as Torako
- Azusa Tadokoro as Kiriko
- Kaede Hondo as Umi
- Tomori Kusunoki as Mumumu

Michiru Ebira is directing the anime at studio Yokohama Animation Lab. Tensho Sato is the Rail Romanesque 2 character designer alongside art director Kō Ogata. Yūsei Kashima handles color design for the second season, and Ryohei Miyasaka is the photography director. Moreover, Kisuke Koizumi is the second season’s sound director.
