MAGES. have opened its official website for festivities involving the 15th anniversary of Steins;Gate. A collaboration with Akihabara’s Radio Kaikan, a key location in the main Steins;Gate story, was also announced.
Steins;Gate is a highly popular title from the Science Adventure series by MAGES. This series includes ANONYMOUS;CODE, which released on September 8 in the west as the latest Science Adventure entry. A new Steins; title (Steins;???) has been planned/in the works for years now, and a previous tease hints toward some sort of announcement for the Steins;Gate 15th anniversary.
Steins;Gate 15th Anniversary Website is Live
The Steins;Gate 15th anniversary website confirms that festivities will be held at the Radio Kaikan in Akihabara. From September 23 to October 10, customers may receive limited-run Steins;Gate stickers with purchases of 1,000 yen or higher. The sticker that customers may receive varies by the day, so those who come on subsequent days will receive different stickers. Moreover, the Radio Kaikan build will feature a number of Steins;Gate visual displays.
Fans in Akihabara may also look forward to a Steins;Gate exhibition hosted on the Radio Kaikan building’s 10th floor from October 13 to 15. This exhibition will feature visuals and artwork from source material provided by MAGES. Replicas of the satellite and Doctor Nakabachi conference hall will also be featured. Fans may also obtain Steins;Gate capsule toys from machines that are operating during the exhibition period.
A special concert by Science Adventure series vocalist Kanako Itou will be hosted on the Radio Kaiken roof on October 15. The concert is limited to 200 entrants, and customers must make a purchase of 1,000 yen or more to enter a raffle and win a ticket to the concert.
Currently, no new game announcements have been planned, so fans need to wait for more official information from MAGES.
