Nintendo has announced that the Splatoon 3: Side Order DLC will release as part of the game’s expansion pass in Spring 2024. The company also revealed a brand-new trailer featuring exciting new gameplay footage.
Side Order is a major story expansion focused on Pearl and Marina from Splatoon 2. The DLC will be available for those who have already purchased the Splatoon 3 expansion. Additionally, you can get free access to the DLC if you have the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. More information on Side Order is available below.
Splatoon 3: Side Order Coming in 2024
Splatoon 3: Side Order will feature the return of both Agent 8 and Pearl from Splatoon 2. The trailer also hints at the existence of a new character named Acht. The gameplay of Side Order appears to have rogue-lite elements. Before every level, players can pick a specific gameplay modification that makes the stage easy, medium, or hard difficulty. The harder the difficulty, the more rewards you’ll get by beating it.
