This morning, Nintendo announced that a brand-new Nintendo Direct will air this coming Thursday, September 14. The presentation will focus on games relating this Winter. Winter also includes early 2024, so expect titles that could be released through March. The presentation will last 40 minutes.

Nintendo Direct to Air September 14, 2023
It should be no surprise that Nintendo is set to air a Direct in the month of September. Each year, this is a staple presentation that outlines both games from the company and their partners for Fall, Winter, and early Spring.
The Nintendo Direct that aired in February of 2023 revealed Metroid Prime Remastered, Pikmin 4, Game Boy and GBA games to Nintendo Switch Online, and the first look at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay. Afterwards, there was the June Direct.
June’s presentation showcased the reveals of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG (Remake), the Metal Gear series coming to Switch, a new game featuring Peach, and a release of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon on Switch. These are all going to be touched on at this September 2023 Direct. So, get ready!
This presentation is expected to be one of the last for the Switch. The company is aiming to sunset the platform next year with the Switch 2 or whatever it chooses to call its successor. It is expected to offer backward compatibility, NVIDIA’s DLSS, and a new Tegra chip. Plenty of rumors about this presentation have popped up over the last week, including something related to F-ZERO and Mario vs. Donkey Kong. So, get excited. This will be one memorable show.
